Rent Free

Covers are a tricky thing. In this case, I wanted to do my own versions of songs, not by superstars and legends, but by local heroes, local legends, people I have known in person over the years who wrote and played and recorded music that stuck with me. Music that has lived in my head rent free. I hope you enjoy my interpretations. I certainly enjoyed revisiting all of these songs and my memories of the people who created them.

If one’s art touches only one other person, it is a great success. These writers have all left deep impressions on me, for which I thank them.
